This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Manage financial claims expense invoicing, reporting, analysis, reimbursement assessment, and forecasting.
• Create weekly invoices, statements, financial claims expense reports, and month-end closing documentation.
• Investigate administrative services and stop loss coverage, including root cause analysis and resolution of inquiries.
• Evaluate claims, plan policies, products, rates, membership, enrollment, underwriting, direct sales, contracts, and program participation.
• Provide support for financial analysis and forecasting related to claims expense and stop loss coverage.
• Generate financial reports for employer groups or stop loss vendors utilizing claims, credits, trends, reports, and other relevant elements.
• Review subgroup expenditures for employer groups to ensure compliance with Administrative Agreements.
• Create reports, variance analyses, estimates, and adjustments for employer groups, vendors, sales, underwriting, and other stakeholders.
• Verify and identify manual transaction fees along with contractual adjustments.
• Reconcile statements of account and assist with monthly run-out and final close-out procedures.
• Aggregate data for both internal and external audits.
• Process client transactions, including claims holds or suspensions, run-out administrative fees, and employer group settlements.
• Assess stop loss benefit eligibility in accordance with contract terms and investigate related vendor inquiries.
• Aid in quality reviews of operational inquiries to ensure accuracy of information and adherence to expected service levels.
• Bachelor's degree or advanced degree (if applicable).
• 0-2 years of experience in a relevant field.
• Alternatively, 3+ years of experience in a related area may substitute for a degree.
• Ability to work remotely with a limited number of in-office visits each year, consistent with the Remote Flex approach.
