This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Act as the primary contact and trusted advisor for a diverse portfolio of complex, often multi-location or multi-line commercial accounts.
• Create customized service plans and risk management strategies tailored to each client’s industry, risk appetite, and business goals.
• Lead meetings with clients, renewal strategy discussions, and consultations on coverage.
• Work in partnership with producers and practice leaders to deliver cohesive service and growth strategies.
• Oversee the renewal process from strategy formulation to execution, encompassing marketing, proposal development, and policy negotiations.
• Evaluate the assigned book of business to ensure revenue expansion and account profitability.
• Recognize cross-sell opportunities and coverage deficiencies, coordinating with internal teams and producers to provide supplementary insurance lines.
• Track carrier performance, pricing trends, and market conditions to guide placement decisions and negotiate favorable terms.
• Keep accurate and timely records in AMS360 and related systems for policy adjustments, notes, and documentation.
• Identify underperforming accounts and devise action plans to enhance margins or resolve servicing challenges.
• Offer technical support and guidance to Client Managers and junior team members.
• Serve as a subject matter expert and resource during internal planning sessions, special projects, and escalated client service matters.
• Stay updated on industry regulations, carrier appetites, and best practices in Property & Casualty and Life & Health domains.
• Ensure that service delivery meets agency standards, regulatory mandates, and client expectations.
• Over 7 years of experience in insurance account management, with a strong emphasis on complex commercial accounts.
• Comprehensive understanding of Property & Casualty and Life & Health insurance products, markets, and strategies.
• Demonstrated ability to establish and sustain robust relationships with executive-level clients and carrier partners.
• Strong strategic thinking, analytical capabilities, and business insight, with the proficiency to manage book profitability.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Proficient in AMS360 or similar agency management systems.
• Active insurance licenses in relevant lines (P&C and/or L&H) are mandatory.
• Advanced industry certifications such as CIC, CRM, or CPCU are highly preferred.
