This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Act as the primary contact and trusted advisor for a portfolio of intricate, often multi-location or multi-line commercial accounts.
• Create customized service plans and risk management strategies tailored to each client's industry, risk tolerance, and business goals.
• Lead client meetings, renewal strategy discussions, and coverage consultations.
• Collaborate with producers and practice leaders to deliver cohesive service and growth strategies.
• Oversee the renewal process from strategy development to execution, which includes marketing, proposal creation, and policy negotiations.
• Analyze the assigned book of business to ensure revenue growth and profitability of accounts.
• Identify cross-selling opportunities and coverage deficiencies.
• Monitor carrier performance, pricing trends, and market conditions to guide placement decisions and negotiate terms.
• Maintain precise and timely updates in AMS360 and associated systems.
• Develop action plans for underperforming accounts to enhance margins or resolve servicing issues.
• Offer technical support and guidance to Client Managers and junior team members.
• Serve as a subject matter expert in internal planning sessions, special projects, and escalated client service challenges.
• Stay informed about industry regulations, carrier appetites, and best practices in Property & Casualty and Life & Health lines.
• Ensure that service delivery meets agency standards, regulatory requirements, and client expectations.
• Over 7 years of experience in insurance account management, with a proven focus on complex commercial accounts.
• In-depth understanding of Property & Casualty and Life & Health insurance products, markets, and strategies.
• Demonstrated ability to build and sustain strong relationships with executive-level clients and carrier partners.
• Strong strategic thinking, analytical abilities, and business acumen with the capacity to manage book profitability.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Proficient in AMS360 or similar agency management systems.
• Active insurance licenses in applicable lines (P&C and/or L&H) are required.
• Advanced industry certifications such as CIC, CRM, and CPCU are strongly preferred.
