This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Serve as the primary point of contact and a trusted advisor for a diverse portfolio of complex commercial accounts, often spanning multiple locations or lines.
• Create customized service plans and risk management strategies that align with each client’s industry, risk appetite, and business goals.
• Facilitate client meetings, renewal strategy sessions, and coverage consultations, offering expert-level advice and representation.
• Collaborate with producers and practice leaders to deliver cohesive service and growth strategies.
• Proactively manage the renewal process from strategy through execution, including marketing, proposal creation, and policy negotiations.
• Strategically assess the assigned book of business to guarantee revenue growth and account profitability.
• Spot cross-sell opportunities and identify coverage gaps, working with internal teams and producers to provide complementary insurance lines.
• Keep track of carrier performance, pricing trends, and market conditions to guide placement decisions and negotiate favorable terms.
• Ensure accurate and prompt updates in AMS360 and related systems for policy modifications, notes, and documentation.
• Recognize underperforming accounts and devise action plans to enhance margins or resolve servicing challenges.
• Offer technical support and direction to Client Managers and junior team members.
• Act as a subject matter expert and a resource during internal planning sessions, special projects, and escalated client service matters.
• Stay informed about industry regulations, carrier appetites, and best practices in Property & Casualty as well as Life & Health lines.
• Ensure that service delivery meets agency standards, regulatory requirements, and client expectations.
• Over 7 years of experience in insurance account management, specifically focusing on complex commercial accounts.
• In-depth knowledge of Property & Casualty and Life & Health insurance products, markets, and strategies.
• Proven capability to establish and maintain strong relationships with executive-level clients and carrier partners.
• Strong strategic thinking, analytical abilities, and business insight with the capacity to manage book profitability.
• Outstanding communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Proficient in AMS360 or similar agency management systems.
• Active insurance licenses in applicable lines (P&C and/or L&H) are mandatory.
• Advanced industry certifications such as CIC, CRM, or CPCU are highly preferred.
