This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Act as the primary contact and trusted advisor for a diverse portfolio of intricate, frequently multi-location or multi-line commercial accounts.
• Create customized service plans and risk management strategies that align with each client's industry, risk appetite, and business goals.
• Facilitate client meetings, renewal strategy discussions, and coverage consultations, offering expert-level guidance and advocacy.
• Collaborate with producers and practice leaders to deliver cohesive service and growth strategies.
• Oversee the renewal process from strategy formulation to execution, including marketing, proposal creation, and policy negotiations.
• Evaluate the assigned portfolio to ensure revenue growth and account profitability.
• Identify opportunities for cross-selling and coverage gaps; work with internal teams and producers to provide complementary insurance solutions.
• Track carrier performance, pricing trends, and market conditions to guide placement decisions and negotiate favorable terms.
• Keep accurate and timely records in AMS360 and related systems for policy modifications, notes, and documentation.
• Recognize underperforming accounts and develop action plans to enhance margins or resolve service challenges.
• Offer technical support and mentorship to Client Managers and junior team members.
• Serve as a subject matter expert and resource during internal planning meetings, special projects, and escalated client service matters.
• Stay informed about industry regulations, carrier appetites, and best practices in Property & Casualty as well as Life & Health lines.
• Ensure that service delivery meets agency standards, regulatory requirements, and client expectations.
• 7+ years of experience in insurance account management, particularly with a focus on complex commercial accounts.
• Comprehensive understanding of Property & Casualty and Life & Health insurance products, markets, and strategies.
• Proven track record of establishing and sustaining strong relationships with executive-level clients and carrier partners.
• Strong strategic thinking, analytical capabilities, and business acumen to manage book profitability effectively.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Proficient in AMS360 or equivalent agency management systems.
• Active insurance licenses in relevant lines (P&C and/or L&H) are mandatory.
• Advanced industry certifications such as CIC, CRM, or CPCU are highly preferred.
