This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Take ownership of and drive the strategy for the territory.
• Identify areas of opportunity, enhance existing accounts, and establish a pipeline that supports consistent over-attainment.
• Cultivate strong relationships with customers, partners, and key stakeholders.
• Comprehend business drivers, technical priorities, and decision-making processes.
• Collaborate with Solutions Engineers to create, position, and deliver compelling solutions that align with customer outcomes.
• Develop and utilize relationships with channel partners (VARs) to generate demand, broaden reach, and expedite deal execution.
• Manage complex sales cycles from start to finish, encompassing discovery, qualification (MEDDICC), solution positioning, deal structuring, and closing.
• Maintain rigorous pipeline management and ensure forecasting accuracy.
• Drive execution within the quarter and engage in long-term account planning.
• Coordinate internal resources, including Partner Managers, Specialists, and Customer Success teams.
• A minimum of 7 years of quota-carrying sales experience with a proven history of meeting or exceeding targets.
• Experience in selling NetApp technologies or related solutions in storage, data center, infrastructure, cloud, or data platforms.
• Demonstrated ability to generate new business by entering accounts, creating a pipeline, and closing new opportunities.
• Significant experience in a channel-driven sales model, building and leveraging VAR relationships to generate revenue.
• Proven capability to collaborate cross-functionally with Solutions Engineers, Partner Managers, and Specialists to secure complex deals.
• Highly disciplined in forecasting, pipeline management, and executing deals.
• Strong business and financial acumen, with the ability to structure deals, develop value propositions, and effectively communicate ROI to executive stakeholders.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, capable of engaging both technical and business audiences.
• In-depth understanding of enterprise sales cycles and proficiency in navigating multiple stakeholders across IT, Finance, Procurement, and executive leadership.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment, taking accountability for results.
• Candidates must reside in the Winnipeg/Regina/Saskatchewan region.
