Client Data Management Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Generate, review, and deliver study files to BioPharma clients in accordance with study specifications.

• Collect study data utilizing both internal and external resources while adhering to delivery deadlines.

• Resolve data issues in collaboration with cross-functional partners, including Business Development, Alliance Managers, Client Managers, Analytical Project Managers, Sample Management, Software, and Computational Biology teams.

• Examine customer data inquiries and execute as well as verify data cleanup activities.

• Assist in aligning data workflows with Clinical Operations, Regulatory Affairs, and Commercial teams.

• Act as the primary contact for Data Transfer Agreement discussions for assigned low- to medium-complexity clients.

• Engage in training and aid in the implementation of Data Transfer Agreements.

• Oversee, draft, review, negotiate, and finalize Data Transfer Agreements under supervision.

• Attend meetings with customers and third-party data managers during study setup and implementation.

• Address client needs and inquiries using Salesforce, TaskRay, Tableau, GitLab, JIRA, and the data warehouse.

• Coordinate communications regarding user access for both internal and external platforms.

• Execute, create, and maintain JSON scripts, and develop scripts using Python documentation for processing, cleaning, and generating study-specific deliverables.

• Develop and sustain scripts and enhancements tailored for sponsor-specific reporting requirements.

• Engage in data wrangling and support the development of data analysis tools.

• Maintain code repositories and version control through GitLab.

• Support the creation of custom tools that automate processes, streamline data workflows, and facilitate scalable operations.

• Monitor orders, coordinate data release activities, and track order and revenue forecasting.

• Assist with CDM reporting and analytics to aid leadership decision-making.

• Coordinate data management activities and participate in cross-functional study discussions.

• Assess CDM processes and propose workflow and data delivery enhancements.

• Carry out regulatory responsibilities in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices.

• Maintain CDM documentation, SOPs, training materials, and tracking systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree plus 2 years of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree with no prior experience required.

• Familiarity with best practices in database management.

• Exposure to data tools and programming languages, including Java, Python, or R.

• Knowledge of software tools such as Excel, Bash, and Git.

• Proficient in data analysis, identifying trends, and creating solutions via data analysis.

• Capability to analyze complex data, recognize patterns, and develop effective solutions.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• High level of organization to manage incoming data files, maintain data systems, and ensure data accuracy.

• Strong attention to detail to guarantee the accuracy and integrity of sensitive client information.

• Ability to work effectively and efficiently as part of a team in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines.

• Understanding of data governance, security, and compliance standards.

• Client-focused abilities, including empathy and the capacity to engage and communicate effectively with clients.

• Knowledge of data protection regulations, such as GDPR.

• Familiarity with the clinical trials process, encompassing phases, key timelines, regulatory oversight, IRB Approval, FDA Submission, FDA approval, GCP guidance, and data analysis.

• Exposure to AI-driven insights for data interpretation, coding/scripting, quality control, and refining client communications.

• Knowledge of molecular biology and/or high-throughput data analysis, or related fields.

• Understanding of project management principles.
