This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Provide timely service and respond to inquiries from clients and representatives regarding questions, report status, concerns, and information requests.
• Input and retrieve client or claimant information using relevant systems and databases.
• Maintain daily communication with the QA department concerning workflow and pending report status.
• Reach out to providers for assignments and update databases accordingly.
• Organize and archive both open and closed cases.
• Verify client information and record client-specific guidelines and rules in the system.
• Collaborate with team members and work independently to address queries, document cases, and return cases in a timely manner.
• Redirect calls to other departments as necessary.
• Execute clerical tasks including typing, filing, emailing, and proofreading.
• Assist with customer complaints and quality assurance matters.
• Inform management of any report issues or concerns.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal safety and legal regulations.
• Carry out other assigned responsibilities.
• Paralegal experience in the state of Florida is required.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
• At least one year of clerical experience is preferred; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Familiarity with general computer operations, fax machines, copiers, scanners, and telephones.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and internet usage.
• Ability to be trained on and comply with HIPAA regulations and standards.
• Qualified typist with a minimum typing speed of 40 W.P.M.
• Capacity to accurately follow management's instructions.
• Demonstrated accuracy, thoroughness, accountability for quality, and initiative to identify areas for improvement.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively.
• Capability to maintain confidentiality.
• Ability to concentrate amid normal or heavy distractions.
• Capacity to perform well under pressure or stressful conditions.
• Ability to appropriately manage change, delays, or unexpected events.
• Willingness to follow company policies and procedures.
• Availability from Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm EST.
