This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Address inquiries from clients, healthcare professionals, nurses, or client representatives.
• Provide responses to questions, report status inquiries, concerns, and requests for information.
• Input and retrieve client or claimant data utilizing various systems and databases.
• Maintain regular communication with the QA department about workflow and the status of pending reports.
• Reach out to providers for assignments and update the relevant database.
• Organize and archive both open and closed cases.
• Confirm client information and document client-specific guidelines within the system.
• Collaborate independently and with colleagues to resolve queries, document activities, and promptly return cases.
• Redirect calls to other departments as necessary.
• Carry out clerical tasks such as typing, filing, emailing, and proofreading.
• Assist with customer complaints and issues related to quality assurance.
• Inform management about any report-related issues or concerns.
• Ensure adherence to state and federal safety and legal regulations in practices.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Candidates must possess paralegal experience within the state of Florida.
• A high school diploma or an equivalent qualification is required.
• At least one year of clerical experience is necessary; a combination of education and experience may be considered.
• Experience as a paralegal is essential.
• Proficiency in using general computers, fax machines, copiers, scanners, and telephones.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and the Internet is required.
• Ability to be trained on and comply with HIPAA regulations and standards.
• Competent typist with a minimum typing speed of 40 W.P.M.
• Ability to accurately follow instructions and management directives.
• Excellent communication skills are essential.
• Capability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality is crucial.
• Capacity to remain focused in the presence of normal or significant distractions.
• Ability to perform well under pressure or in stressful situations.
• Skill in managing changes, delays, or unexpected events appropriately.
• Ability to adhere to company policies and procedures.
