This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +3 more states.
• Spearhead Sedgwick's client communications strategy, ensuring that messaging is consistent, clear, aligned with client needs, and reflective of the brand.
• Simplify complex claims, service, and operational information into accessible, relevant, and beneficial content for clients.
• Oversee the content calendar and the production of client newsletters and regular communications.
• Collaborate with communications leadership and senior business executives on client communication requirements, priorities, risks, and opportunities.
• Strategize, create content for, and implement virtual client events, webinars, briefings, and follow-up communications.
• Develop event content, speaking materials, presentations, and supporting communications in partnership with subject matter experts and senior leaders.
• Manage the client services newsroom, coordinating content sourcing, review, and publication across various business units.
• Establish governance, editorial, approval, and quality standards for content in the newsroom and at events.
• Gather customer insights through events, newsletters, surveys, and other interaction points.
• Analyze feedback, attendance, engagement, and content performance to uncover trends, needs, opportunities, and gaps.
• Convert findings into actionable recommendations that shape communications, events, campaigns, and marketing investments.
• Report to leadership on the reach, effectiveness, and business impact of communications and events.
• Identify market trends and growth opportunities in collaboration with Marketing Strategists.
• Work alongside Marketing Strategists, Sales, and Client Services to develop integrated campaigns, segmentation, messaging, targeting, and content relevance.
• Oversee moderately complex communications projects across multiple workstreams, stakeholders, budgets, and deadlines.
• Cultivate relationships across Global Communications, Marketing, Claims Operations, Client Services, Sales, Legal, and other departments.
• Monitor client communication trends in the insurance and third-party administration sectors.
• Provide guidance to management on client communications, content governance, event strategy, and client engagement.
• A Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, journalism, English, marketing, business, or a related field from an accredited institution is preferred.
• A combination of education and relevant work experience will also be considered.
• A minimum of ten (10) years of progressive experience in client, customer, corporate, or marketing communications, or a suitable combination of education and experience, is required.
• Experience in the insurance, third-party administration, professional services, or another client-service-intensive sector is preferred.
• Proven experience managing moderately to highly complex projects within a matrixed environment is required.
• Experience in partnering with and advising executives and senior leaders is essential.
• Demonstrated capability in leading client-specific communications, newsletters, webinars, briefings, or events is required.
• In-depth knowledge of client, customer, corporate, and marketing communications principles and practices is necessary.
• Strong understanding of voice-of-the-customer principles and the ability to translate complex information into clear, relatable communications for clients.
• Solid marketing acumen, including audience segmentation, campaign strategy, messaging, targeting, and content marketing principles.
• Excellent analytical and interpretive skills, enabling the conversion of client feedback and engagement data into actionable recommendations.
• Experience in planning and executing virtual client events, webinars, briefings, newsletters, and recurring communications is essential.
• Familiarity with survey, feedback, engagement analytics, reporting, and content management tools is preferred.
• Outstanding project management and organizational skills are necessary.
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills, including presentation, writing, editing, facilitation, and executive consultation.
• Ability to build trust, advise senior leaders, influence stakeholders, and work effectively within a matrixed organization without direct authority.
• Sound judgment and discretion regarding content governance, accuracy, approvals, confidentiality, risk, and escalation.
• Proficiency in PC and AI technologies, including Microsoft Office products and relevant content, newsletter, event, marketing, survey, and analytics platforms.
