This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Execute end-to-end accounting processes, including the analysis of accounts and financial transactions.

• Prepare and support cash management, accounts payable, accounts receivable, accruals, and reconciliations.

• Organize and prioritize a substantial workload across multiple clients effectively.

• Timely and accurately prepare and review detailed financial reporting packages.

• Implement procedures for the preparation of accounting records, transaction analysis, and reporting.

• Prepare and review ledgers for fixed assets.

• Calculate and document straight-line rent in accordance with client specifications.

• Adhere to company financial policies and procedures while reporting any inconsistencies or issues to management.

• Research, analyze, communicate, and appropriately escalate fundamental accounting concerns.

• Engage and collaborate with clients and property management teams.

• Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and information.

• Perform additional duties as required or requested.


⛳️ Requirements

• A college degree in Finance or Accounting is preferred.

• Some experience is required, but less than one year or an equivalent combination of education and experience is acceptable.

• Previous experience with accounting or database software packages is preferred.

• A basic understanding of commercial real estate is preferred.

• Proficiency in MS Office applications is necessary.

• Capability to perform full cycle accounting, including the analysis of accounts or transactions.

• Ability to prepare financial reporting packages that comply with internal controls and client expectations.

• Competence in managing a high-volume workload for various clients.

• Familiarity with appropriate accounting procedures and financial policies.

• Ability to research, analyze, communicate, and escalate accounting issues as needed.

• Capacity to collaborate effectively with clients and property management.

• Ability to comply with and assist during internal and external audits.
