This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Mexico.

📋 Description

• Develop and implement strategic client account plans to meet annual objectives and enhance program growth year after year.

• Foster sustainable and replicable account growth for the DOD Army Team within National Governments.

• Formulate and oversee strategic plans, account plans, opportunity targets, pipelines, and growth objectives.

• Collaborate with Regional Business Lines and Business Line Leaders.

• Track and support program/project opportunities while optimizing portfolio quality across various regions and business lines.

• Maintain a monthly overview of account performance, bookings, and pipeline forecasts.

• Review and update the Salesforce pipeline on a weekly basis.

• Ensure capture plans are in place for significant pursuits and assist with collaboration and negotiations.

• Work alongside FBS and Marketing to facilitate risk-management approvals, pricing, proposal evaluations, and federal compliance.

• Lead significant proposals and monitor contract capacity, subcontract positions, and underperforming contracts.

• Manage essential client relationships and enhance cross-selling opportunities.

• Oversee corrective measures and monitor recovery efforts to ensure client satisfaction.

• Ensure compliance with FAR and participate on joint-venture boards for larger programs.

• Review CPAR reports and rebuttals, maintaining communication with major program managers.

• Lead account-level focus-group communications and conduct business-line reviews.

• Advocate for the AECOM/National Governments brand and develop federal teams.

• Direct client engagement, identify opportunities, and collaborate to secure task orders and contracts.

• Monitor AECOM team performance and address client issues.

• Identify and resolve organizational conflict-of-interest matters.

• Report to an Account Director for National Government Business Lines in DCS Americas.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, or a related field that aligns with AECOM’s Business Lines.

• 15+ years of experience collaborating with US Federal government agencies on Architect-Engineering programs.

• 6+ years in a leadership capacity.

• Willingness to travel throughout CONUS and occasionally OCONUS.

• US citizenship is mandatory.

• Comprehensive understanding of consultative selling techniques.

• Exceptional communication abilities.

• Advanced negotiation skills.

• Proficiency in project management for complex, multi-country, multi-business-unit projects.

• Familiarity with and/or eagerness to swiftly learn AECOM's complete portfolio.

• Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce) is an advantage.
