This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Build and nurture relationships with customers, brokers, carriers, and internal stakeholders.
β’ Act as a knowledgeable resource regarding group health benefit plans, company policies, and pertinent updates.
β’ Investigate and address client inquiries and service-related concerns.
β’ Assist in the proposal and placement processes for both new and renewal business opportunities.
β’ Generate reports, charts, and analyses that detail customer costs and claims experiences.
β’ Plan and lead customer meetings effectively.
β’ Aid in the implementation of self-funded customer plans and approved design modifications.
β’ Address customized reporting requests and disseminate accurate account data.
β’ Manage customer communications and oversee group mail distributions.
β’ Represent Allegiance during customer visits and presentations to both new and existing clients.
β’ At least 3 years of experience in group health insurance, account management, human resources, benefits administration, or a similar client-facing position.
β’ Exceptional verbal and written communication skills along with strong presentation and relationship-building abilities.
β’ Robust analytical, mathematical, research, and problem-solving skills complemented by sound judgment.
β’ Capacity to prioritize conflicting responsibilities, maintain flexibility under pressure, and adhere to deadlines.
β’ Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Windows, and other relevant business applications.
β’ Ability to read and understand benefit plan documents, insurance contracts, regulations, and claims-related information.
β’ Commitment to confidentiality and professionalism in communication with customers, brokers, carriers, and colleagues.
β’ Willingness to travel to customer locations as needed.
β’ Capability to obtain the necessary Montana Life, Health, Credit Life, and Disability licenses.
β’ Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, Healthcare, or a related discipline (preferred).
β’ Completion of the AHIP Health Insurance Associate program (preferred).
β’ Familiarity with self-funding, excess loss coverage, claims administration, and Life, AD&D, STD, and LTD insurance products (preferred).
β’ Understanding of medical terminology and experience with claims-processing or reporting software (preferred).
β’ Home internet connection via cable broadband or fiber optic service with a minimum of 10Mbps download and 5Mbps upload speed if working remotely.
