This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Oversee teams of personal injury protection examiners and technical personnel for clients.
• Track colleagues' workloads and individual claims activities.
• Deliver training and provide technical/jurisdictional guidance on claims adjudication.
• Manage multiple examiner teams, product line examiners, and/or technical operations staff.
• Recognize and inform management about trends, challenges, issues, and recommended actions.
• Coordinate projects with management while supporting ongoing process improvements.
• Gather, review, and analyze management reports, taking appropriate measures.
• Conduct quality reviews on claims to ensure compliance with audit, service contract, and quality standards.
• Serve as the second level of appeal for client and claimant concerns, implementing final resolutions.
• Maintain client communication, foster professional relationships, and provide claim summaries.
• Ensure that direct reports hold the necessary licenses and that claims files are accurately coded and documented.
• Implement personnel policies, conduct interviews and hiring of staff, establish performance plans, lead performance discussions, and provide leadership and motivation.
• Minimum of six (6) years of claims experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience required, including two (2) years in a supervisory role.
• Necessary licenses as required.
• Comprehensive understanding of claims management processes and procedures across multiple product lines.
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills, including presentation abilities.
• Proficient in PC use, particularly with Microsoft Office products.
