Claims Representative

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Manage incoming calls from contract holders to initiate claims or follow up on existing ones.

• Effectively communicate home warranty details.

• Accurately record claim information in the database.

• Provide necessary follow-up information to customers.

• Carry out customer service functions and assist clients in submitting new claim requests.

• Offer additional insights based on claim determinations.

• Handle queued call volume to aid customers in the shortest time possible.

• Perform other assigned duties as needed.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.

• High proficiency in English.

• Strong communication skills.

• Extensive experience in handyman or repair services.

• Familiarity with appliance diagnosis issues.

• Experience with Excel spreadsheet data entry.

• Ability to manage escalated situations effectively.

• Proven track record of working with U.S.-based business teams.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Must have full and ongoing availability during Porch’s U.S. EST business hours (7:30 PM IST – 3:30 AM IST).

• A quiet workspace with a reliable internet connection of at least 30 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload.
