Claims Intern – Worker's Compensation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Iowa.

📋 Description

• Contribute as a member of EMC’s corporate claims team during a paid internship in Summer 2027.

• Leverage information to create valuable data insights utilizing Business Intelligence (BI) tools.

• Collaborate with essential business stakeholders in Claims to collect information and requirements for data analysis and reporting.

• Familiarize yourself with EMC's culture, business processes, and product offerings.

• Acquire knowledge of the insurance claims process.

• Pursuing a degree in business, ideally in business management, finance, or communications.

• Preference for candidates who have completed their junior year.

• A keen interest in pursuing a career in property casualty insurance.

• Maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.00 or above.

• Possess excellent verbal and written communication capabilities.

• Demonstrate strong analytical skills.

• Exhibit effective organizational abilities.

• Display sound decision-making and problem-solving skills.

• Have a solid understanding of personal computer applications.
