Claims Intern – Worker's Compensation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Iowa.

📋 Description

• Engage in a paid internship with EMC’s corporate claims team during Summer 2027.

• Create impactful data insights utilizing Business Intelligence (BI) tools.

• Collaborate with Claims stakeholders to collect information and requirements for data analysis and reporting.

• Familiarize yourself with EMC's culture, business operations, and product offerings.

• Develop an understanding of the insurance claims process.

• Build a network with executives, connect with a mentor, explore various departments, and participate in community service.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be a business major, ideally in business management, finance, or communications.

• Preferably completed junior year of study.

• Demonstrated interest in a career in property casualty insurance.

• Maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.00 or above.

• Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Exhibit strong analytical capabilities.

• Have robust organizational skills.

• Demonstrate sound decision-making and problem-solving abilities.

• Show attention to detail.

• Possess good personal computer proficiency.
