Claims Executive

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee insurance claims for clients at both individual and portfolio levels.

• Act as a claims expert, providing training and mentorship.

• Develop claims protocols and policy improvements in collaboration with insurance company partners and clients.

• Organize and execute claim reviews to ensure appropriate claims management, reserve standards, and settlement protocols.

• Serve as a claims advocate and liaison to assist clients in reducing claims expenses.

• Analyze individual claims and keep reserves and records up-to-date in line with industry best practices.

• Support business development and renewal efforts by participating in client meetings.

• Articulate the firm's strategy for claims mitigation and resolution.

• Track industry trends, claims results, legal developments, and regulatory changes.

• Provide summaries of claims reviews and associated activities to Advisors, the Director of Risk Mitigation, colleagues, and clients.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in claims and customer/client support roles within the insurance sector.

• Extensive knowledge and/or expertise in commercial claims, including workers' compensation, property & casualty, management liability, professional liability, and/or other specialty claims.

• Proven ability to inspire and influence colleagues and clients.

• Capacity to collaborate effectively as part of a team and build relationships across various business segments.

• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

• Proficiency in presenting solutions, value propositions, and risk mitigation strategies.

• Familiarity with industry best practices in claims management.

• Skill in reading and interpreting coverage and reservation of rights letters, profit and loss statements, safety regulations, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.

• Experience in policy coverage review and dispute resolution.

• Strong computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel and Word.

• A Bachelor's degree is preferred.

• At least one relevant certification is expected, such as AIC, CPCU, ARM, CIC, AINS, WCCP, CLRI, CRM, or PRM.

• Knowledge of Spanish is an advantage.
