Claims Business Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Examine claims data to uncover trends, patterns, anomalies, and root causes that affect claim severity, leakage, cycle time, re-open rates, expense management, and customer satisfaction.

• Collaborate with Claims Operations, Quality Assurance, SIU, Finance, and leadership to convert business inquiries into analytical requirements and success metrics.

• Generate actionable insights and recommendations aimed at enhancing claims handling practices, minimizing operational risk, and improving efficiency throughout the claims lifecycle.

• Keep track of emerging trends in claims performance and proactively share insights, risks, and opportunities with claims leadership.

• Conduct comprehensive analyses to pinpoint cost drivers, operational inefficiencies, and potential areas for process optimization.

• Convey findings and recommendations to adjusters, managers, executives, and both technical and non-technical audiences.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.

• Over 5 years of experience in data analysis, particularly within the insurance or claims operations sector.

• Expertise in SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools (such as Power BI and Tableau).

• Capability to present findings and recommendations effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
