Claims Associate, HOA

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Deliver outstanding customer service to callers, clients, agents, and business partners.

• Manage incoming phone calls and emails.

• Verify coverage and initiate claims in the claims system (PTS).

• Dispatch inspection requests and notifications to adjusters and examiners.

• Request checks as required.

• Attach documents and emails to Image Right.

• Record activities in the claim file.

• Collect essential claims information.

• Submit claims and inspection requests to adjusters and vendors.

• Research prior claims and relevant information for adjusters.

• Investigate weather and storm data using online resources.

• Assist with mail distribution, filing, and scanning tasks.

• Oversee diary entries.

• Maintain constructive internal and external working relationships.

• Assist insured parties, agents, and claimants with inquiries regarding claim information, questions, or concerns.

• Enter expense and claims checks as necessary.

• Provide support to the Claims Department.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED is mandatory.

• At least one year of relevant claims or customer service experience is preferred.

• Exceptional customer service abilities.

• Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.

• Skillfully gathers and analyzes information.

• Adheres to policies and procedures.

• Efficiently sets up claims and submits them to adjusters promptly.

• Effectively manages challenging or emotional customer situations.

• Exhibits empathy.

• Maintains confidentiality.

• Communicates clearly and informatively in writing.

• Demonstrates accuracy and attention to detail.

• Acts with integrity and ethics.

• Prioritizes and organizes work activities effectively.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

• Experience collaborating with global and/or US-based business teams.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in the English language.

• Requires a quiet workspace.

• Internet connection with a minimum of 30 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload speed.
