Claims Adjuster – Trainee

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Investigate and validate the facts surrounding automobile accident losses.

• Assess coverage, liability, and damages, adjusting and negotiating claims within designated authority.

• Conduct basic investigations related to coverage, liability, and damages.

• Identify customer needs and fulfill them utilizing appropriate customer service skills.

• Utilize a foundational understanding of company systems and technology.

• Collaborate to evaluate subrogation or fraud potential and determine the appropriate handling methods.

• Gain insight into company insurance policies, the insurance sector, and organizational dynamics.

• Recognize and identify vehicle body components and potential property damage.

• No supervisory responsibilities involved.

⛳️ Requirements

• Candidates must live in the PST, MST, or CST time zones.

• Availability to work Monday through Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM Pacific Time is required.

• Applicants must have authorization to work in the United States.

• The employer does not provide sponsorship for work visas.

• Individuals with an active insurance license must resign from all existing appointments prior to onboarding and are prohibited from holding any outside appointments during employment.

• Applicants possessing a resident producer license must formally surrender that license when directed by the licensing team.

• A dedicated, distraction-free workspace is required when working from home.

• An appropriate desk and seating arrangement is necessary.

• Reliable internet connection with minimum speeds of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload is essential.
