Property Field Claims Adjuster

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Investigate the source and cause of property claims by engaging with insured parties, claimants, agents, attorneys, contractors, experts, investigators, adjusters, public personnel, and others.

• Recognize complex issues and request assistance as necessary while managing claims in good faith.

• Manage both 1st-party and 3rd-party claims across various policy types and endorsements.

• Perform on-site inspections, assess damages, and negotiate claims with insured parties, claimants, attorneys, and public adjusters.

• Address customer inquiries, make suitable decisions, and close files as needed.

• Interpret policies, leases, by-laws, declarations, articles, and contract coverages, applying them to assigned losses.

• Provide updates on the claim process and status, respond to inquiries, or redirect questions as appropriate.

• Complete additional assignments, job responsibilities, or projects based on skills, accomplishments, or experience.

• Report to the Property Claim Manager and manage homeowner property field claims within the Conyers or Covington, Georgia region.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must reside within the Conyers or Covington, Georgia region.

• Proven experience in delivering customer-focused solutions, support, or service.

• Proven experience in managing both 1st and 3rd party, multi-line claims across operational territories, or equivalent experience.

• Proven experience in handling moderately complex claims, or equivalent experience.

• Strong knowledge and understanding of policies and endorsements related to casualty coverages, or equivalent knowledge.

• Strong knowledge and understanding of each phase of the claims handling process, or equivalent knowledge.

• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

• Obtain state-specific property casualty claims licensing as required.

• Up to 50% travel; catastrophe duty may require up to 75% as applicable.

• Ability to perform physical tasks such as climbing, navigating tight or confined spaces, and lifting objects up to 50 pounds.

• Ability to work in various environmental conditions including low and high temperatures, precipitation, wind, noise, hazardous environments, and small or enclosed spaces.

• Sponsorship will not be considered unless specified in the posting.

• Preferred: Experience with Xactimate.

• Preferred: Field property claims adjusting experience.
