This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Deliver prompt, courteous, and high-quality service to all stakeholders involved.
β’ Initiate investigations, address inquiries, and resolve claims effectively.
β’ Collect essential information from all parties to initiate claims processes.
β’ Clarify policy details, coverage options, and appropriate actions to take.
β’ Oversee a portfolio of claims.
β’ Set initial reserves for potential exposures and adjust them as necessary throughout the claim's duration.
β’ Manage vendor relationships.
β’ Facilitate the assessment and settlement of damages to passenger transportation vehicles within authorized payment limits.
β’ Coordinate heavy-duty and specialty appraisals, repair facilities, towing, and recovery services.
β’ Take downtime and loss-of-use claims into consideration.
β’ Identify recovery opportunities in subrogation, salvage, and total loss scenarios.
β’ Ensure adherence to state and federal regulations, policy provisions, and standard operating procedures.
β’ Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of claim guidelines and processes.
β’ Work collaboratively across departments to proactively resolve claims.
β’ Candidates must reside in an eligible U.S. state during the course of employment.
β’ We are unable to hire candidates living in California, Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories, or outside the United States.
β’ A minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial transportation claims, preferably in limousine, livery, motorcoach, charter, or other passenger carrier operations.
β’ Experience managing both 1st and 3rd party physical damage and total loss claims.
β’ At least 7 years of overall claims handling experience across various lines of business.
β’ A Bachelor's degree is preferred; however, candidates without one are encouraged to apply if they meet all other qualifications.
β’ An active adjuster license is required: a resident-state license where applicable, or a Designated Home State (DHS) license otherwise.
β’ Candidates must acquire any additional necessary licenses within 60 days, including state testing.
β’ A solid understanding of state and federal regulations, policy provisions, and standard operating procedures is essential.
β’ Familiarity with passenger carrier operations and coverage considerations is required.
β’ Strong analytical skills to evaluate claims data and make informed decisions based on established guidelines, policies, and procedures.
β’ Ability to perform accurate and timely coverage analysis.
