Civil Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop civil engineering scenarios that encompass extensive infrastructure design cycles, multi-stakeholder permitting and regulatory assessments, as well as intricate construction management or public works operations.

• Create tasks involving structural design and analysis, transportation and highway engineering, water resources and environmental engineering, geotechnical engineering, and management of construction projects.

• Formulate engineering scenarios utilizing AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, STAAD.Pro/ETABS, HEC-RAS, and enterprise project management systems.

• Implement civil engineering methodologies aligned with either US or International standards.

• Generate reference design plans, engineering calculations, and technical narratives aimed at stakeholders and regulatory bodies.

• Compose rubrics that differentiate genuine civil engineering judgment from basic textbook or coursework-level knowledge.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a civil engineer or engineering lead.

• Proven ownership of large-scale infrastructure designs, permitting processes, or delivery of construction projects.

• Proficient in civil engineering tools and methodologies.

• Knowledge of regulatory approvals, environmental reviews (NEPA or equivalent), and oversight by public agencies.

• Capability to work on both the International standards track (Eurocodes and ISO) and the US standards track (ASCE, ACI, AISC, AASHTO).

• Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, STAAD.Pro/ETABS, HEC-RAS, and enterprise project management tools.

• Experience in applying structural load analysis, geotechnical site evaluations, and hydrology/hydraulic modeling.

• A recognized professional engineering credential is strongly preferred (US PE, CEng, EUR ING, or P.Eng).

• Previous authorship of rubrics, engineering training curricula, or design documentation is advantageous.

• Must not require H1-B or STEM OPT sponsorship.
