Supply Engineer – Construction

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland, +5 more countries.

📋 Description

• Initiate production processes by coordinating glass orders, verifying hardware availability, and procuring custom hardware or materials as necessary.

• Anticipate demand and ensure that warehouses are adequately stocked.

• Assess and evaluate both local and international suppliers.

• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules.

• Acquire consumables for installation teams and warehouse operations.

• Monitor order statuses with suppliers and address any delivery or warehouse pickup challenges.

• Analyze technical drawings and specifications to compile material lists.

• Verify dimensions, finishes, and quality standards prior to placing orders.

• Keep track of modifications in estimates and related documentation.

• Ensure that technical documents and component orders are ready in time for container arrivals.

• Collaborate effectively with Sales, Project Managers, designers/engineers, and estimators.

• Assist teams with substitutions and change orders.

• Provide pricing and material data for budgeting purposes.

• Aid the warehouse team in confirming that parts correspond with the drawings.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in procurement, supply chain, or engineering within construction, manufacturing, or related sectors.

• Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings.

• Fluent in both English (C1) and Russian (C1).

• Strong organizational capabilities with a background in creating material lists from specifications.

• Experience in supplier negotiation and international sourcing.

• Comfortable working with spreadsheets and procurement systems.

• Ability to thrive in a multitasking environment, prioritize effectively, and meet tight deadlines.

• Familiarity with AutoCAD or similar software for reviewing drawings.

• Experience using CRM systems for purchasing and inventory management.
