Senior Structural Engineer – Building Design

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Lead structural design efforts for a variety of complex projects involving steel, concrete, wood, and masonry materials.

• Supervise and mentor junior engineers, fostering their professional growth.

• Conduct advanced structural analyses and compile findings into detailed reports.

• Manage project oversight, including adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project integration.

• Stay updated with the latest advancements in structural engineering and apply innovative practices.

• Engage with clients to identify their technical requirements and provide insightful strategic advice.

• Assist in business development by highlighting Olsson’s technical expertise and capabilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

• Proven capability to manage complex projects and mentor engineering teams effectively.

• At least 8 years of experience in structural engineering, particularly in facilities design and project leadership roles.

• A Professional Engineer (PE) license is mandatory.

• Proficient in structural design and drafting software applications.

• A Master’s degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering with a structural emphasis is preferred.

• Familiarity with Autodesk Revit is advantageous.

• Experience in Post Tensioned Concrete Design is preferred.
