Lead Structural Engineer – Building Design

📋 Description

• Serve as the technical lead for large-scale project design, managing complex assignments from the initial design phase to project completion.

• Conduct high-level analyses and review project documentation to ensure adherence to relevant standards, codes, and regulations.

• Supervise and monitor engineering processes and resources to enhance productivity and efficiency.

• Create and implement standards and guidelines for a variety of engineering activities.

• Offer technical design training and mentorship to enhance team capabilities.

• Assist in achieving project management goals by coordinating technical resources for key projects and optimizing resource utilization.

• Work closely with project managers to ensure the timely completion of technical project elements within budget and aligned with objectives.

• Utilize creativity, decision-making, and accountability for design tasks specific to the discipline.

⛳️ Requirements

• Excellent communication skills.

• Ability to collaborate effectively and contribute to a team environment.

• Master’s Degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Architectural Engineering with a structural focus.

• 12-20+ years of relevant experience in Structural Engineering.

• Must hold a professional registration.

• Minimum of four years of experience in supervising technical staff.

• Proven success in meeting and surpassing client expectations through technical design initiatives.

• Strong orientation towards client service.

• Exceptional interpersonal and decision-making abilities.
