Civil Drafter – Stormwater, AU Residential

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Accurately complete timesheets utilizing Total Synergy.

• Navigate and manage the filing and documentation system effectively.

• Catalogue, prepare, and organize drafting detail libraries within AutoCAD LT.

• Foster opportunities for independence throughout the drafting process/cycle.

• Prepare structural drafting drawings for standard residential construction projects.

• Generate small stormwater drainage drawings according to project specifications.

• Create drafts using AutoCAD LT in accordance with standard templates and formatting guidelines.

• Review project specifications and briefs, translating design intent into technical drawings.

• Update and revise drawings based on feedback from engineers or stakeholders.

• Ensure consistency and accuracy across drawing sets, including annotations, dimensions, and labeling.

• Organize and manage drafting files and drawing revisions following naming and filing conventions.

• Collaborate with team members to fulfill project timelines and requirements.

• Verify that completed drawings adhere to quality and accuracy standards prior to submission.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree or vocational diploma in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Drafting Technology, or a related discipline.

• 3–5 years of experience in structural drafting and small stormwater drafting, particularly in residential projects, or equivalent experience.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD LT.

• Familiarity with drafting according to standardized templates and formatting guidelines.

• Strong understanding of fundamental structural drafting principles for residential-scale projects.

• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in the production of technical drawings.

• Effective organizational skills for managing multiple drawing sets and revisions.

• Strong written communication skills for coordinating drawing feedback and revisions.

• Experience in Australian residential construction projects is essential.
