This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Provide organizational leadership for a four-member DevOps team.
• Strategically plan capacities and the roadmap while prioritizing daily operations.
• Report on build status, migration progress, and the security posture of the supply chain.
• Enhance CI/CD infrastructure utilizing Jenkins/Bitbucket and GitLab.
• Operate and develop standardized pipelines for around 25 portfolio components.
• Oversee the migration from Jenkins/Bitbucket to GitLab during live operations.
• Manage artifacts in JFrog Artifactory with XRay policies and container images in Harbor.
• Promote automation in delivery management and ensure deployment of the software portfolio.
• Be responsible for managing Docker/OCI images and Helm charts.
• Facilitate the transition from scripts and bare-metal installers to fully container-based deployment.
• Develop transition plans, training materials, and communicate deprecation timelines.
• Offer tooling support for the CVE scanning process, utilizing tools like XRay or Trivy.
• Advance the SBOM process across the complete portfolio.
• Minimum of 5 years of practical DevOps experience.
• Strong understanding of GitLab CI/CD, including pipeline design, runners, and native workflows.
• Demonstrated experience running Docker/OCI images in a production environment.
• Familiarity with artifact repositories such as Artifactory or Nexus and container registries.
• Knowledge of CVE scanning processes.
• Experience in generating SBOMs using CycloneDX.
• Proven track record in standardizing CI/CD pipelines across various teams and projects.
• Experience in team coordination or informal leadership roles.
• Practical experience with AI-driven developer tools like Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or Cursor.
• Eagerness to introduce AI-powered developer tools to the team and integrate them into CI/CD workflows.
• Structured and clear communication skills in German at a C1 level, both written and verbal.
