Chuukese – English Over the Phone Interpreter

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Deliver precise and clear language interpretation via phone.

• Support non-English speakers across a variety of tasks.

• Offer interpretation services over the telephone.

• Convey thoughts, intent, spirit, emotions, and tone from the source language to the target language.

• Adhere to relevant ethics and standards.

• Familiarity with industry-specific vocabulary, particularly in healthcare and medical terminology.

⛳️ Requirements

• Native proficiency in Chuukese.

• English proficiency at B2/C1 level.

• Experience in interpretation is an advantage.

• Strong understanding of medical/legal terminology is beneficial.

• A computer running Windows 10 or a newer version.

• Minimum specifications of Pentium or i3 processor; Core 2 Duo 2.1 GHz minimum; i5/i7 2.4 GHz or higher is recommended.

• Reliable and fast wired internet connection; Wi-Fi is not permitted.

• Internet speed of 4 Mbps for both download and upload.

• A noise-canceling wired USB headset.

• Eagerness to learn and advance both professionally and personally.
