Chinese Language Specialist – Freelance AI Trainer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Malaysia.

📋 Description

• Engage in conversations with language models focused on scenarios involving the Chinese language.

• Challenge the models regarding tonal variations, character systems, dialects, idioms, sentence structure, and cultural nuances.

• Assess the factual accuracy and logical consistency of the models.

• Document reproducible error traces and record instances of model failure.

• Propose enhancements for prompt engineering and evaluation metrics.

• Assist in the creation of high-quality training data for next-generation AI systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in the Chinese language.

• Strong understanding of Chinese grammar, syntax, morphology, semantics, phonetics, and pragmatics.

• Capability to analyze tonal variations, the differences between Simplified and Traditional characters, regional dialects, Chinese idioms, sentence structure, and cultural context.

• Excellent metacognitive communication skills with the ability to articulate your reasoning.

• A master's degree or PhD in Chinese language, linguistics, or a closely related discipline is preferred.

• Experience with peer-reviewed publications, translation, or practical linguistic analysis projects is considered advantageous.
