Chinese Language Specialist – Freelance AI Trainer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Indonesia.

📋 Description

• Engage in conversation with the language model regarding scenarios in the Chinese language.

• Assess the accuracy of facts and the logical coherence of responses.

• Capture error traces that can be reproduced.

• Document instances of model failure.

• Propose enhancements for prompt engineering and evaluation metrics.

• Challenge advanced language models on aspects such as Chinese grammar, syntax, morphology, semantics, phonetics, pragmatics, tonal variations, character systems, dialects, idioms, sentence structure, and cultural context.

• Contribute to the training of the next generation of AI by providing high-quality Chinese language data.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in the Chinese language.

• In-depth knowledge of Chinese grammar, syntax, morphology, semantics, phonetics, and pragmatics.

• Capability to analyze tonal variations, the differences between Simplified and Traditional characters, regional dialects, Chinese idioms, sentence structure, and cultural context.

• Strong metacognitive communication skills and the ability to articulate your thought process.

• A master's or PhD in Chinese language, linguistics, or a closely related discipline is preferred.

• Experience with peer-reviewed publications, translation work, or practical linguistic analysis projects indicates suitability.
