This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.
• Develop, implement, manage, and communicate data collection and analysis initiatives for state, Tribal, and municipal clients.
• Support the creation of research plans and proposals.
• Conduct both qualitative and quantitative research through surveys, interviews, focus groups, policy and document reviews, and public datasets.
• Clean, organize, and analyze data gathered by FCF or its partners.
• Produce accurate and user-friendly reports, charts, and graphs.
• Create and maintain user documentation as well as internal process guides.
• Learn and utilize new technologies, software, data types, and analysis tools as required.
• Oversee daily project management tasks, including facilitating meetings, scheduling, updating project plans, communicating with clients, and ensuring timely deliverables.
• Develop and implement program evaluations to inform program enhancements and measure impact.
• Provide training, consulting, and technical assistance on data collection, analysis, dashboards, evaluation, and reporting.
• Present data findings to external clients and partners.
• Collaborate with clients and partners to understand their data needs and ensure adherence to ethical and culturally competent data standards.
• Manage time allocation reports along with client, partner, and funder data.
• Participate in organizational and National Systems Team learning sessions.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
• Relevant experience in public policy and administration, nonprofit program design and evaluation, research, evaluation, or consulting.
• Demonstrated experience in research, including document review and data collection methodologies.
• Exceptional written, verbal, and visual communication skills.
• Ability to work sensitively and effectively with adults from diverse educational, cultural, and socio-economic backgrounds.
• Proficient to advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive business data and information.
• Working knowledge of ECE-related politics, policies, and funding streams at local, state, federal, and Tribal levels, or the capacity to quickly gain this knowledge.
• Preferred experience with statistical analysis and commonly used statistical software packages.
• Preferred experience with GIS or other mapping software.
• Spanish fluency is preferred.
