This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.
• Take ownership of company-wide revenue growth, customer retention, profitability, and commercial performance.
• Formulate and implement short-term and long-term revenue strategies, targets, growth plans, and performance metrics.
• Spearhead the transition towards a proactive, scalable go-to-market model.
• Provide regular updates on revenue performance and strategic insights to the CEO and Board of Directors.
• Define and oversee the go-to-market strategy encompassing sales, marketing, and account management.
• Propel market expansion, customer acquisition, and vertical market penetration.
• Align marketing initiatives to enhance demand generation, lead quality, pipeline growth, and customer acquisition effectiveness.
• Develop sales segmentation, territory strategies, and market coverage frameworks.
• Collaborate with Product teams to synchronize commercial opportunities and growth objectives.
• Build, mentor, and scale a high-performing outbound sales team.
• Guide the sales organization to meet revenue and profitability targets.
• Set performance expectations, compensation strategies, and accountability measures.
• Foster predictable pipeline development, sales execution, and forecasting accuracy.
• Enhance conversion rates, win rates, average deal size, and overall sales productivity.
• Implement sales methodologies, coaching programs, and talent development initiatives.
• Recruit, nurture, and retain top-performing commercial talent.
• Drive account expansion, upselling, net revenue retention, and reduction of churn.
• Monitor recurring revenue trends and identify potential revenue risks.
• Establish customer-centric retention and loyalty strategies.
• Lead Revenue Operations, including forecasting, pipeline management, and KPI reporting.
• Create scalable systems, processes, and reporting capabilities.
• Develop executive dashboards and revenue analytics.
• Promote operational excellence throughout the customer lifecycle.
• Improve forecasting discipline, optimize technology stack, and ensure CRM data integrity.
• Over 12 years of progressive B2B SaaS revenue leadership experience, including roles such as Senior VP of Sales, Head of Revenue, or CRO.
• Proven success in building or rebuilding a revenue function.
• Demonstrated ability to construct or transform commercial teams in organizations generating between $15M and $100M in ARR within a high-growth or transformational setting.
• Direct experience in commercializing enterprise learning and HR technologies.
• Strong familiarity with navigating executive stakeholder dynamics among CHRO, CLO, CIO, and COO personas.
• Proven record of driving commercial adoption for early-stage and high-growth product offerings.
• Demonstrated experience in establishing a new customer acquisition function with minimal existing outbound infrastructure.
• Successfully transitioned organizations from inbound-led growth to proactive outbound selling.
• Experience in managing revenue forecasting, pricing strategies, and commercial performance initiatives.
• Player-coach mentality, capable of both developing and executing strategies.
• Rigorous forecasting discipline utilizing leading indicators.
• Strong recruiting capability to attract top-tier talent.
• Technology fluency, with experience in CRM systems (preferably Salesforce) and other marketing and prospecting tools.
• Excellent communication skills to represent the sales organization to the board.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Marketing, Analytics, or a related field.
• MBA or advanced business degree is preferred.
