This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Develop and lead a cohesive global commercial organization encompassing sales, marketing, and go-to-market operations.
• Enhance customer acquisition, digital conversion, retention, cross-selling, and lifetime value throughout the learner and legal professional journey.
• Cultivate relationships with law firms, corporate legal departments, law schools, universities, and other institutional partners via coordinated account strategies.
• Create a unified strategic-account approach for prominent law firms and educational institutions.
• Recognize opportunities for account expansion and channel partnerships.
• Position BARBRI’s website, e-commerce platforms, inside sales capabilities, and paid media channels as scalable contributors to direct-to-consumer and direct-to-professional revenue.
• Align brand, creative, public relations, strategic communications, performance marketing, and account-based marketing with commercial goals.
• Define the commercial direction for responsible AI adoption, including digital customer experiences, self-service conversion, personalization, pipeline management, and sales productivity.
• Establish operating rhythms, ensure accurate forecasting, set measurable performance standards, and secure executive sponsorship for strategic opportunities.
• Develop and empower senior commercial leaders while nurturing a collaborative, accountable, customer-centric, high-performance culture.
• Report directly to the CEO, maintaining accountability for revenue growth, commercial performance, and BARBRI’s global market presence.
• Demonstrated experience as a CRO or in a comparable commercial leadership role across multiple revenue streams.
• Preferred established relationships and credibility within the legal sector, including law firms, legal departments, legal tech, legal education, or professional services.
• Experience in institutional B2B sales and direct or digital channels.
• Proven track record in building and scaling high-performing commercial organizations through effective leadership.
• Demonstrated success in developing strategic account programs, expanding enterprise relationships, and enhancing cross-selling across a multi-product portfolio.
• Experience in scaling e-commerce, inside sales, subscription, self-service, or other digitally enabled revenue channels.
• Understanding of account-based marketing and its integration with enterprise and institutional sales strategies.
• Strong executive-level communication and influencing skills.
• Experience in private equity-backed or high-growth settings, with a history of scaling revenue.
• Experience leading global or multi-geography commercial teams, especially in the United States and United Kingdom.
• Willingness to travel for leadership meetings, customer engagement, strategic initiatives, and team gatherings.
