Chief Operating Officer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with senior leadership to advance company priorities and long-term business goals

• Ensure organizational focus, alignment, and accountability across various functions

• Contribute to shaping organizational direction through strategic planning and decision-making

• Assess and improve systems, processes, and infrastructure to facilitate ongoing growth

• Lead initiatives aimed at enhancing effectiveness, streamlining operations, and boosting organizational capacity

• Establish performance metrics and utilize data to inform business decisions

• Provide executive oversight of both operational and clinical functions

• Champion quality, innovation, and a culture of continuous improvement

• Cultivate exceptional client experiences and forge long-term strategic partnerships

• Identify emerging market trends, operational opportunities, and innovative solutions

• Collaborate with executive leadership to evaluate and propel strategic initiatives

• Represent True Rx in interactions with clients, partners, industry stakeholders, and the broader healthcare community

• Inspire, mentor, and develop high-performing leaders and teams

• Foster accountability, collaboration, transparency, and results

• Drive organizational change initiatives

⛳️ Requirements

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) is required

• An active pharmacist license in good standing is required

• An MBA, MHA, MPH, or another advanced business degree is preferred

• Over 15 years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare, pharmacy benefit management (PBM), or a related field

• More than 10 years of executive or senior leadership experience

• A proven history of leading organizational growth, operational transformation, and performance enhancement initiatives

• Experience in guiding complex organizations through periods of change and growth

• Ability to balance strategic thinking with effective operational execution

• Outstanding relationship-building, communication, and leadership abilities

• Demonstrated success in developing teams and enhancing organizational performance

• Experience in leading large, cross-functional teams and enterprise-wide initiatives is preferred

• A deep understanding of healthcare operations, clinical strategy, regulatory requirements, and industry trends is preferred
