This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.
• Transform Accident & Health strategy into structured enterprise execution.
• Provide leadership across Claims, Cost Containment, Technology, Data, and Operational Excellence.
• Ensure operational and service performance aligns with or surpasses established plans.
• Enhance expense efficiency while safeguarding service quality, customer experience, and growth potential.
• Spearhead process simplification, standardization, automation, and ongoing improvement.
• Establish performance metrics, service levels, operational dashboards, and governance for execution.
• Collaborate with business leaders to foster profitable growth and positive outcomes for customers and partners.
• Oversee the operating aspects of the complete customer and business-partner journey.
• Cultivate relationships with customers, distribution partners, administrators, and other essential stakeholders.
• Provide executive leadership and oversight for Claims and Cost Containment.
• Develop strategies, standards, benchmarks, controls, and reporting for claims and cost containment.
• Manage claims partners, administrators, and vendors, particularly for complex and high-exposure claims.
• Direct A&H Technology and Data roadmaps, investments, platforms, reporting, and digital capabilities.
• Enhance the utilization of technology, data, automation, and AI to elevate operations and customer experience.
• Establish and lead cross-functional initiatives for operational improvement.
• Act as a strategic operating partner to the President and Executive Leadership Team.
• Suggest decisions regarding the operating model, investment, and resource allocation.
• Foster alignment, accountability, high-performing teams, and scalable capabilities.
• A Bachelor's degree is required; an advanced degree is preferred.
• Over 15 years of leadership experience in insurance or financial services.
• Executive leadership experience in complex operational settings, including claims, technology, and/or data.
• Proven history of enhancing operational and financial performance.
• Experience in leading substantial operational transformations, process improvements, and technology-driven changes.
• Experience in building and managing high-performing teams.
• Proven experience in enhancing customer or partner experience and developing robust external relationships in a complex business landscape.
• Experience collaborating with commercial, distribution, and marketing leaders to translate operational capabilities into market value.
• Strategic, commercial, and customer-centric mindset.
