Chief Operating Officer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland, +4 more countries.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the operational, financial, and executional framework of the company, allowing the CEO to concentrate on vision, growth, and external relations.

• Ensure the executive team adheres to the strategy through OKRs, responsible leadership, financial management, and the company’s operating system.

• Facilitate regular executive team meetings.

• Guarantee that each department establishes OKRs and Health Indicators at the department, team, and individual levels.

• Hold C-level executives accountable for the execution of quarterly OKRs.

• Assess KPIs, OKRs, and Health Indicators on a monthly basis and suggest enhancements.

• Provide training and development for executives.

• Own and manage the company’s Work AI OS.

• Lead and oversee the Operations team.

• Conduct strategic research for new internal initiatives.

• Implement and control company strategy.

• Collaborate with the CEO on the company’s direction and decisions.

• Ensure that compensation and budget allocation align with priorities and merit.

• Maintain a consistent hiring standard that aligns with company values.

• Monitor profitability and carry out financial forecasting.

• Oversee departmental and company budgeting.

• Manage and optimize income and expenses.

• Drive financial planning through analysis of company performance and risk.

• Foster relationships with industry partners.

• Provide onboarding assistance to partners.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years in an Associate Partner or equivalent senior leadership position at a top-tier strategy consultancy such as McKinsey, BCG, or Bain.

• Proven experience leading projects on operating model design, organizational transformation, or performance management.

• Previous experience working within a rapidly growing company, rather than just providing advisory services.

• Demonstrated success in enhancing financial performance and risk visibility across the company with direct P&L or budget accountability.

• Experience in building or scaling a company operating system or management cadence from the ground up in a similar organization.

• Experience in leading or collaborating with distributed, remote, cross-border teams.

• Capability to translate strategy into measurable objectives and timelines.

• Strong background in P&L ownership, budgeting, forecasting, and risk assessment.

• Proven executive leadership, coaching, and accountability skills.

• Experience in developing and managing a company-wide Work AI OS.

• Ability to synthesize KPIs, OKRs, and health indicators into actionable recommendations.

• Proficient in cross-functional stakeholder management.

• Experience in partnership management and developing external strategic relationships.

• Familiarity with OKR, KPI, and health-indicator frameworks.

• Knowledge of financial statements, budgeting cycles, and forecasting methods relevant to professional services or consulting businesses.

• Understanding of company operating-system methodologies and tools.

• Awareness of the AI consulting and enterprise AI adoption market.

• Required English proficiency: Intermediate, Upper Intermediate, Advanced, or Native/Bilingual.
