This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Sri Lanka.
• Lead and establish the FP&A function within the family office.
• Create integrated forecasts and financial projections for EGE Holdings and its subsidiary businesses.
• Develop scenario models and perform sensitivity analyses for operating companies, investments, and portfolio choices.
• Convert forecasts and financial projections into actionable insights for the principal.
• Enhance transparency regarding liquidity, capital needs, returns, and financial risks.
• Analyze private equity, public market, real estate, and operating-company investments.
• Construct investment, valuation, and return models, and carry out quantitative risk assessments.
• Evaluate capital allocation trade-offs and uncover opportunities to boost portfolio returns.
• Formulate a comprehensive understanding of portfolio risk, including concentration, liquidity, leverage, and downside risk.
• Serve as the principal's senior financial advisor on intricate business and investment matters.
• Deliver quantitative analysis and commercially viable recommendations across EGE and its subsidiaries.
• Oversee consolidated financial reporting for EGE Holdings and its associated entities.
• Collaborate with external tax advisors to manage multi-entity tax obligations.
• Uphold financial controls and implement decision-useful reporting standards.
• Mentor and develop controllers and finance leaders across the operating companies.
• Create a scalable finance organization and identify capability or resource deficiencies.
• Cultivate relationships with private banks, wealth advisors, tax professionals, legal counsel, and other external financial entities.
• Leverage AI tools, such as Claude, to enhance analysis, research, modeling, reporting, and decision-making support.
• Develop streamlined AI-enabled finance workflows.
• Extensive senior-level finance leadership experience, preferably as a CFO, VP Finance, Head of FP&A, Investment Finance leader, or a similar strategic finance role within a complex investment or multi-entity setting.
• Profound experience in building and leading forecasting, planning, projection, and scenario-modelling capabilities.
• Advanced financial modeling expertise across forecasting, valuation, investment analysis, scenario planning, and sensitivity analysis.
• Proven track record in quantitatively assessing investments, returns, risks, and capital allocation decisions.
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to distill intricate financial data into straightforward strategic recommendations.
• Capability to evaluate liquidity, concentration, leverage, downside risks, and portfolio-level trade-offs across various asset classes.
• Solid understanding of consolidated financial statements and experience in navigating complex, multi-entity ownership structures.
• Background in managing or leading controllers, finance managers, or entity-level finance teams.
• Comfort in directly collaborating with principals, founders, executives, private banks, wealth advisors, tax professionals, and legal counsel.
• Ability to operate autonomously as a senior thought partner in an entrepreneurial context.
• Strong familiarity with AI tools and a willingness to integrate AI into financial research, modeling, analysis, and reporting processes.
• Executive-level proficiency in written and verbal English, with the ability to clearly and persuasively communicate complex financial concepts.
• In-person training programs provided during the initial 3.5 weeks.
