Chief Commercial Officer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take full responsibility for payer account management and payer contracting from start to finish, enhancing the payer contract portfolio in Managed Medicaid, Medicare Advantage, and CMS programs.

• Collaborate with the CEO to steer the payer growth strategy.

• Oversee and cultivate resources in payer contracting, payer account management, as well as strategy and operations for new business lines.

• Continue to develop the commercial team.

• Manage the overall strategy development, launch, and P&L for new business initiatives.

• Establish processes to transform current operations into a scalable and repeatable commercial engine.

• Gather insights from new revenue models and leverage them for future growth.

• Serve as the representative of the commercial function with payers, partners, and internal leadership.

• Promote Diverge Health’s mission to enhance health access and outcomes for Medicaid patients.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of senior-level experience in value-based contracting.

• Proficient understanding of value-based care deal mechanics.

• Capability to independently conduct financial calculations for value-based agreements.

• Proven experience in personally leading payer negotiations regarding value-based arrangements.

• Significant background in payer account management.

• Experience in P&L ownership, commercial strategy, and accountability at the executive level.

• Ideally, experience in running or co-managing a P&L is preferred.

• Demonstrated success in leading and nurturing multi-functional teams.

• Familiarity with the operating environment of Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC) is a considerable advantage.

• Excellent executive communication skills.

• Must have authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship, now or in the future.
