This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
β’ Enhance technical advocacy for HPE storage solutions within the partner community.
β’ Act as a trusted technical advisor for leading channel partners.
β’ Assist partner teams in positioning, designing, and delivering HPE storage and data protection solutions.
β’ Cultivate partner capabilities through enablement sessions, workshops, whiteboarding, and hands-on labs.
β’ Identify and nurture technical champions within partner organizations.
β’ Represent HPE at partner events, technology days, and customer-facing briefings.
β’ Comprehend technical needs and evaluate current IT infrastructure alongside partners and end customers.
β’ Convert requirements into architected solutions, highlighting alternatives and potential gaps.
β’ Present and demonstrate how HPE capabilities align with business outcomes.
β’ Support solution configurations and proofs of concept.
β’ Develop competitive strategies in collaboration with partners.
β’ Generate, qualify, and advance storage opportunities with HPE account teams, channel managers, and partners.
β’ Promote technology adoption, upgrades, and refreshes throughout the installed base.
β’ Maintain precise pipeline information.
β’ Ensure a seamless transition from sale to implementation while identifying training needs.
β’ Travel to partner and customer locations approximately 50% of the time.
β’ Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
β’ Over 5 years of technical presales experience with a leading storage vendor or storage-focused channel partner.
β’ Profound hands-on expertise in pitching, demoing, and architecting intricate storage solutions.
β’ Knowledge of virtualization technologies, including VMware or KVM-based environments.
β’ Familiarity with at least two application stacks, such as Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, or SAP.
β’ Practical experience with at least one major public cloud: AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
β’ Expertise across block, file, backup, ransomware protection, and related data lifecycle solutions.
β’ In-depth competitive knowledge of at least one major storage vendor.
β’ Strong understanding of channel partner business models and offerings.
β’ Consultative selling skills, including active listening, framing, whiteboarding, and storytelling.
β’ Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
β’ Strong grasp of storage industry trends, competitor products, and strategies.
β’ Solid business and financial acumen.
β’ Project management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
β’ Familiarity with CRM systems and sales tools.
β’ Must reside in the greater Miami/Southern Florida region.
β’ Willingness to travel approximately 50% of the time.
β’ Storage-related industry certifications are strongly preferred.
β’ Expertise in a significant vertical such as financial services, manufacturing, or healthcare is preferred.
β’ AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud certifications are preferred.
