This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Enhance technical advocacy for HPE storage solutions within the partner ecosystem.
• Provide guidance to leading channel partners on the positioning, design, and delivery of HPE storage and data protection solutions.
• Cultivate relationships with technical and sales teams of partner organizations.
• Empower partner engineers through sessions, workshops, collaborative whiteboarding, and hands-on labs.
• Identify and nurture technical advocates within partner companies.
• Represent HPE at partner events, technical days, and client-facing briefings.
• Evaluate the technical requirements and current IT infrastructures of partners and customers.
• Convert requirements into architected solutions, alternatives, and gap analyses.
• Conduct presentations and demonstrations that link HPE capabilities to business outcomes.
• Assist in solution configurations and proofs of concept.
• Formulate competitive strategies in collaboration with partners.
• Create, qualify, and advance storage opportunities alongside HPE account teams, channel managers, and partners.
• Propel technology adoption, upgrades, and refreshes within the existing installed base.
• Maintain precise partner pipeline information.
• Ensure a seamless transition from sale to implementation while identifying training requirements.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• Over 5 years of technical presales experience with a leading storage vendor or a storage-centric channel partner.
• Extensive hands-on expertise in pitching, demonstrating, and architecting intricate storage solutions.
• Proficient knowledge of virtualization, including VMware or KVM-based environments.
• Experience with at least two application stacks, such as Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, or SAP.
• Familiarity with at least one major public cloud: AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Expertise in block, file, backup, ransomware protection, and related data lifecycle solutions.
• Competitive insight into at least one prominent storage vendor.
• Understanding of channel partner business models and their offerings.
• Consultative selling abilities, including active listening, framing, whiteboarding, and storytelling.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Awareness of storage industry trends, competitor products, and strategies.
• Business and financial acumen.
• Skills in project management, analytical thinking, and problem-solving.
• Familiarity with CRM systems and sales tools.
• Ability to reside in the greater Miami/Southern Florida area.
• Willingness to travel approximately 50% of the time.
• Storage-related industry certifications are strongly preferred.
• Public cloud certifications are preferred.
• Expertise in a major vertical such as financial services, manufacturing, or healthcare is preferred.
