This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +10 more states.
• Act as the primary technical expert and trusted advisor for key partner stakeholders.
• Work collaboratively with channel sales colleagues to create joint business strategies and discover growth opportunities for partner-driven Cortex expansion.
• Design, develop, and deliver technical training sessions, workshops, and webinars.
• Support partner engineering and architecture teams regarding Cortex architectures, integration processes, and deployment best practices.
• Build and maintain technical relationships and trust with partner engineering teams.
• Offer pre-sales technical support, enablement resources, and architectural advice.
• Serve as a communication link between partners and Product Management, Technical Marketing, and R&D.
• Keep partners informed about product roadmaps, cybersecurity trends, and competitive landscape.
• Maintain documentation of partner technical engagements, enablement achievements, and pipeline contributions.
• Provide regular updates on progress.
• Over 6 years of experience in technical pre-sales, sales engineering, or solution consulting within Security Operations, including SIEM, SOAR, and XDR/EDR solutions.
• Proven history of collaboration with national partners, systems integrators, or distributors.
• Comprehensive understanding of channel sales frameworks and partner ecosystems.
• Practical and architectural expertise in SOC workflows, threat hunting, and incident response methodologies.
• Technical knowledge in Networking, Network Security, Cybersecurity, SOC/Endpoint, or Cloud Security.
• Proficient in product installations, configurations, solution architectures, and troubleshooting.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Ability to train, mentor, and foster technical skills within partner organizations.
• Fluent in English.
• Willingness to travel within the designated region.
• Preferably experienced with SIEM technology design, deployment, or pre-sales activities.
• Previous experience in enabling partners on SaaS and multi-product solutions is preferred.
• Experience in service delivery, Professional Services, MSSP, or SP is preferred.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Engineering, or equivalent practical/military experience is preferred.
• Must not require immigration sponsorship; the employer will not provide visa sponsorship.
• Inclusion of restricted stock units may be offered.
