This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +2 more states.
• Strategically advance opportunities through the sales cycle for a designated group of AVANT Trusted Advisors.
• Continue to recruit trusted advisors within the region.
• Conduct sales calls with Trusted Advisors and Suppliers.
• Achieve or surpass target metrics.
• Monitor market performance through trusted advisors and AVANT support personnel.
• Collaborate directly with the inside channel manager and pricing analyst.
• Act as the primary contact for escalations.
• Serve as a secondary contact for quotes and contracts.
• Re-engage select partners by developing updated annual sales roadmaps, offering Pathfinder training, enhancing adoption, introducing vendors, and conducting regular QBRs.
• Execute frequent QBRs with designated trusted advisors to stimulate revenue growth.
• Encourage attendance at sales and technical training sessions.
• Promote partner engagement and sales through marketing initiatives and additional programs.
• Manage tasks, opportunities, and the sales funnel in Salesforce.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products, programs, and promotions.
• Empower partners to prioritize AVANT solutions.
• Take ownership of the strategy for effectively creating and distributing sales metrics, reports, and sales-related business intelligence.
• Analyze intricate information and data, transforming insights into actionable deliverables, strategies, targets, messages, and presentations.
• Collaborate with IT to enhance Salesforce and CRM technologies, improving sales team productivity and effectiveness.
• Perform additional in-market management tasks as AVANT expands.
• Must be located in the NY, NJ or CT region.
• A BS/BA degree from an accredited college or university is required.
• An MBA or advanced degree in a related field is preferred.
• 10-15 years of experience in the IT or Telecom Channel.
• Direct sales experience is essential.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution abilities.
• Proven capability to influence decision-making at all organizational levels.
• Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Robust analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
• A demonstrated history of consistently exceeding sales goals each month.
• Proven management experience is required.
• Technologically proficient, including knowledge of Word, Excel, and database applications.
• Ability to manage and balance multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
• Strong verbal articulation skills over the phone.
• Experience in collaborative team environments.
• Management and supervisory experience is a plus.
