This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +1 more state.
• Create and implement comprehensive change communication strategies for modernization, transformation, and technology deployment initiatives.
• Craft communication strategies that enhance awareness, prepare stakeholders, promote user adoption, and facilitate enduring behavioral transformations.
• Evaluate stakeholder impacts and communication requirements across various audience segments.
• Collaborate with change management, training, technical, and business teams to synchronize communications with implementation milestones and readiness goals.
• Formulate communication plans that encompass stakeholder analysis, audience segmentation, key messages, channels, feedback mechanisms, risks, and success metrics.
• Counsel executive leaders and articulate strategic priorities, decisions, and transformation goals into effective communications.
• Create leadership messages, talking points, presentations, briefing documents, leadership toolkits, and stakeholder engagement resources.
• Assist in executive visibility and sponsorship initiatives.
• Simplify intricate technical concepts, system modifications, business process overhauls, policy changes, and operational impacts into clear messaging.
• Produce newsletters, implementation updates, readiness materials, FAQs, leadership communications, presentations, intranet content, videos, job aids, toolkits, and adoption campaigns.
• Ensure all communications comply with federal plain language, accessibility, and usability standards.
• Facilitate stakeholder engagement strategies, workshops, leadership briefings, and readiness discussions.
• Monitor stakeholder sentiment and communication effectiveness, suggesting necessary adjustments.
• Track communication initiatives, deliverables, stakeholder engagement efforts, and adoption metrics.
• Generate reports and dashboards reflecting readiness, communication effectiveness, feedback, and adoption progress.
• Utilize quantitative and qualitative data to assess effectiveness and recommend enhancements.
• Assist in business development, internal Guidehouse initiatives, and mentoring junior team members.
• Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD "PUBLIC TRUST"; candidates must secure approved adjudication of their PUBLIC TRUST before onboarding with Guidehouse.
• Bachelor’s Degree; FOUR (4) years of additional professional experience may substitute for a Bachelor's.
• A minimum of THREE (3) years of experience in strategic communications, organizational change management, change communications, public affairs, communications consulting, public relations, or similar fields.
• Experience in supporting modernization, digital transformation, technology implementation, organizational change, or large-scale program initiatives.
• Proven ability to convey complex technical, operational, and organizational changes into clear, compelling communications for diverse stakeholder groups.
• Background in developing executive communications and advising leadership on communication strategies associated with transformation initiatives.
• Experience in supporting stakeholder engagement, workforce transition, organizational readiness, adoption, and change management activities.
• Exceptional writing, editing, presentation development, and storytelling abilities.
• Experience in creating multi-channel communication campaigns and adoption-focused communication products.
• Capability to collaborate effectively with executives, technical teams, program leadership, trainers, and cross-functional stakeholder groups.
• Due to contract stipulations, US Citizenship restrictions apply.
