Change Adoption Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Oversee change management initiatives for cross-functional projects and programs.

• Perform assessments on change impacts and stakeholder involvement.

• Create and implement change management, communication, and stakeholder engagement strategies.

• Collaborate with project managers, business leaders, and sponsors to promote readiness and adoption.

• Design and manage training, enablement, and change champion initiatives.

• Lead workshops, feedback sessions, and efforts to manage resistance.

• Set up and monitor metrics for adoption, readiness, and change effectiveness.

• Track post-implementation adoption and suggest corrective measures.

• Provide updates regarding change readiness, risks, and adoption progress to project and executive leadership.

• Contribute to the PMO's change management standards, tools, templates, and best practices.

• Ensure the adoption and realization of business benefits throughout the PMO portfolio.

• Carry out additional tasks as assigned.

• Capability to convert technical or process changes into business-friendly communications and materials.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Proven skills in delivering executive presentations.

• Exceptional organizational and planning capabilities.

• Ability to clearly articulate project strategy, scope, and outcomes.

• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.

• Proficient communication and storytelling skills.

• Attention to detail is a must.

• Strong change leadership capabilities in complex organizational settings.

• Ability to influence stakeholders without direct authority.

• Excellent facilitation skills.

• Ability to collaborate across PMO, business, and technical teams.

• Strong focus on customer and end-user needs.

• Experience with AI tools or a demonstrated eagerness to learn.

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or communications preferred.

• A high school diploma along with at least 9 years of work experience may be considered in lieu of the preferred degree.

• Over 5 years of experience in change management, adoption, communications, or organizational transformation roles.

• Experience in Agile or hybrid project environments.

• Previous work experience within or alongside a PMO team structure is strongly preferred.

• Familiarity with structured change management methodologies such as Prosci, ADKAR, Kotter, or equivalent.

• Experience supporting digital transformation, product launches, process improvements, or system implementation initiatives.

• Previous experience within a PMO structure and collaboration with project delivery teams.

• Experience in measuring adoption through KPIs, surveys, analytics, and feedback mechanisms.

• Change management certification such as Prosci is preferred.

• Willingness to travel up to 5% of the time.

• Ability to work standard business hours and extended hours when necessary.
