Autonomous Coding Adoption Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Utah.

📋 Description

• Assess and enhance AI-based medical coding technologies.

• Analyze coding performance metrics and evaluate autonomous coding results against established benchmarks.

• Identify clinical scenarios, charts, and specialties that are primed for increased automation.

• Recognize systemic AI errors, compliance issues, and data discrepancies.

• Partner with the reporting team to create data reports for leadership and stakeholders.

• Report software bugs, compliance deficiencies, and edge cases to engineering, compliance, and coding teams.

• Collaborate with the data science team to uncover potential opportunities.

• Lead coding and content analysts in examining coding-related issues.

• Convey the impact of findings to customers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher from an accredited institution plus seven (7) years of experience as a RHIA, RHIT, CDI Specialist, Coder, or RN.

• OR High School Diploma/GED or higher from an accredited institution with eleven (11) years of experience as a RHIA, RHIT, CDI Specialist, Coder, or RN.

• Experience must be gained in a private, public, government, or military setting.

• Proficient in Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.

• Familiarity with Computer-Assisted Coding (CAC) or autonomous coding engines.

• Demonstrated ability to drive technology automation initiatives.

• Effective and consistent communication skills to ensure client retention and alignment.

• Competence in navigating client negotiations to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.

• Strong executive-level presentation skills, particularly concerning ROI statistics.

• Capability to connect technical engineers, clinical staff, and customers.

• Must possess legal authorization to work in the country of employment without requiring employment visa sponsorship.

• Willingness to travel domestically up to 10% of the time.
