Certified Nurse Assistant, CNA

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.

📋 Description

• Assist or perform basic personal hygiene and daily living activities for residents.

• Provide care for residents that addresses their social, emotional, mental, spiritual, and physical needs.

• Conduct daily hygiene routines.

• Familiarize yourself with residents’ preferences to tailor the care provided.

• Document care accurately and report any discrepancies to the appropriate personnel promptly.

• Implement safety, infection control, and risk management protocols.

• Maintain regular communication with the immediate supervisor regarding the status and condition of residents.

• Carry out additional tasks as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• A High School diploma or equivalent is required.

• Must possess a Colorado State Certified Nursing Assistant License.

• 3 to 6 months of experience in long-term care is preferred.

• Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking the English language is essential.

• Excellent customer service skills are required.

• Capability to perform medium to heavy physical tasks.

• Ability to occasionally lift, push, or pull up to 100 pounds and repeatedly handle more than 45 pounds.

• Must be able to stand and walk constantly, with occasional sitting, kneeling, squatting, reaching above shoulder height, and fine motor control.

• Strong grasping ability is needed.

• Must be able to work in environments with bloodborne pathogens, bodily excretions, and communicable diseases.

• Ability to manage frequent interruptions and engage with residents, family members, and visitors regularly.
