Central Bank Expert – Non-G7 Policy Communication

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Interpret statements, minutes, speeches, and wording modifications from a specific non-G7 central bank in its original language.

• Compare the current language with previous guidance and existing market expectations.

• Assign a calibrated score ranging from dovish to hawkish.

• Clarify the implications for interest rates, foreign exchange, and equities.

• Review analyses generated by models and evaluate them against personal benchmarks.

• Generate expert-authored forecasting and research data to assess and enhance AI models based on real macroeconomic analysis.

⛳️ Requirements

• Previous experience as an economist or adviser from the relevant central bank, or as a senior local rates or FX strategist who has covered it through multiple policy cycles.

• Professional fluency in the source language.

• Extensive understanding of the relevant central bank's reaction functions and communication style.

• Experience in reading the central bank's communications in real time.

• Typically, 8+ years of direct experience, or compelling evidence of equivalent performance.

• Direct experience and results on the work sample dictate qualification.

• Ability to reason from the stated evidence cutoff without reliance on hindsight, data leakage, confidential information, or material non-public information.

• Must operate as an independent contractor.

• H1-B or STEM OPT candidates will not be supported.
