Cellular Therapy Account Director – South Central

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Spearhead disease awareness initiatives during the pre-approval stage.

• Cultivate relationships with both clinical and non-clinical experts to gain insights into unmet needs and the patient journey.

• Oversee onboarding processes for the launch of an allogeneic cell therapy.

• Drive demand and enhance utilization and treatment experiences of Tab-cel within designated institutions after approval.

• Navigate intricate account environments and collaborate with medical, value and access, and cell therapy operations teams.

• Design and implement strategic account plans informed by customer insights and analytical data.

• Provide training to treatment center staff to streamline workflows and eliminate barriers to access.

• Conduct education on the disease state, onboarding at sites of care, market mapping, and research.

• Identify and engage medical experts in cell therapy, BMT, lymphoma, and SOT who manage PTLD.

• Outline processes and onboarding requirements for cell therapy and transplant centers.

• Educate physicians about disease severity, unmet needs, standard care, and the patient journey.

• Create and maintain comprehensive site account plans.

• Coordinate with Patient Financial Programs (PFP) to ensure an efficient customer experience and expedite access to Tab-cel Ebvallo.

• Map institutional operations, patient flows, and referral networks.

• Implement territory business plans with account-specific KPIs and strategies.

• Collaborate with service line directors, administrators, coordinators, pharmacy committees, transplant administrators, and medical societies.

• Work with marketing on US promotional materials.

• Manage relationships with key commercial stakeholders in target institutions.

• Support professional meetings, staff exhibits, report on scientific sessions, and facilitate expert meetings.

• Foster collaboration with field-facing teams, market access, medical affairs, and cell therapy technical operations.

• Competitively advocate for Tab-cel Ebvallo through knowledge of the disease landscape, product, and clinical expertise.

• Share insights on accounts and healthcare professionals (HCP), business trends, competitive dynamics, and changes in the therapeutic landscape.

• Educate on the efficacy and safety of Tab-cel and create urgency using approved promotional materials.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree.

• Minimum of 10 years of experience within the biopharma industry.

• Profound expertise in cell or gene therapy service lines.

• Proven experience in navigating a collaborative and complex matrix environment.

• Ability to comprehend and communicate complex treatment modalities.

• Demonstrated scientific aptitude.

• Sales experience in ultra-rare diseases, preferably in CGT.

• Capability to appropriately access and manage business information in compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and/or Pierre Fabre policies.

• A strong passion for making a positive impact on patients' lives.

• Experience in launching products in high-acuity therapeutic areas such as ultra-rare diseases (preferred).

• Established relationships in cell therapy, bone marrow transplantation, and solid organ transplantation service lines (preferred).

• Experience managing extensive geographic territories (preferred).

• Background in rare oncology and/or transplant settings (preferred).

• Proven record of successful account management in large academic institutions (preferred).

• Willingness to travel regularly, including overnight stays within the assigned business territory, up to 70%.
